“Everyone” Wanted to Learn More About EC Go

– This is the first time we have run a course like this at our own premises. The response was very good and it is certainly not the last time. This is something we will also do in other cities around the country, says CEO of Energy Control, Tommy Hagenes.

Many new features
The programme featured EC Go and an update on the enormous capabilities the app represents.
– The app is constantly evolving, and today you can use it for everything related to building management, says Hagenes.
During the course, participants were guided through the use of the app. They could tap along and follow the walkthrough live on their own phones.
– We have recently made a number of upgrades and we want our building operators and owners to be able to take advantage of these. That is why we invited people to a course, says Hagenes.
Among the participants were a number of the city’s building owners and operators. Vestenfjeldske, West Coast Invest, Midgard, DNB Næringseiendom, Backer, Statens Vegvesen, Vestbo and BOB were all in attendance. 

EC Go coaches
It was not only EC Go that was on the agenda. We also invited in good partners and users. Belimo was in to talk about their smart energy valve. Amtek was also there to speak about how new technology can and should be implemented in projects. In addition, the students currently on placement with us came in and spoke about what they have been working on over the past three months.
– We have been coaching EC Go. That is to say, we have been going in and making EC Go better, says Herman Andreas Linnestad.

More courses to come
Both the turnout and the response to the course were very good.
– We had a really good dialogue with many good questions throughout. That is exactly how we want it. This was such a useful session that it is something we will do again, both in Bergen and in several other locations. We have not yet laid out a plan for this, but it is coming, says Hagenes.
