Do You Remember Snake?

Energy Control has relaunched the mobile game Snake — in Energy Control guise. ‍

– Some may think we have gone a bit crazy, but this is of course more than just a game, smiles Tommy Hagenes.

He got the idea for the game while "relaxing" on holiday in Spain.

– I was maybe ten years old when Snake was launched in the late 90s. I bought my own computer when I was six years old. I was passionately interested in IT and used my christening money on the computer. When Snake was launched, I quickly became hooked, to put it mildly, says Tommy.

Under the parasol in Spain, the idea emerged of combining the passion for games and profession in a game format. And what could be better than Snake?

– In our version of Snake you catch energy thieves, avoid poor indoor climate and catch fresh air, while also learning a bit about indoor climate and energy. It is both fun and educational, says Tommy.

The most important thing about the game, however, is that it is part of Energy Control's small online community. Here supporters and customers can meet to discuss professional topics, but also to play.

– The game is therefore part of our small community. Here, customers, industry professionals and others can discuss both professional and more social topics, says Tommy.

Part of the idea is also that members can help each other, but also compete.

– The game and our small online community have just been launched, but there is already a good crowd who have visited. Various forums have been created where different topics are discussed, says Tommy.
