EC Go has just got even better

– We have made several significant improvements. Some improvements may not be so noticeable in day-to-day use, but they make the app stronger and more robust. Other improvements are more visual and visible to users, says Tommy Hagenes at Energy Control.

One of the most important improvements is that the app is now more robust. This means it handles increased traffic better, while also using less energy.
– These are two things that have been important for us to get in place. For us, working with energy efficiency, the latter is also extremely important, says Tommy.

Some of the other upgrades are more visible. The first is that EC Go is now also available as a Widget. This means you can have EC Go as part of the home screen on your phone.
– It makes it even easier to get real-time updates from your buildings. You don't even need to open the app – notifications come directly via the Widget on the front of your screen, says Hagenes.

In addition, the app has also been made available on all screens, regardless of which platform you use. Whether you are on PC, iPad, iPhone, Android or Google – EC Go works equally well across all platforms.
– This has been very important for us to get in place. EC Go should be equally accessible to everyone, regardless of screen and platform preferences, says Tommy.

The final upgrade is very timely, especially as we are now seriously heading into the colder season.
– We have added level one and level two radon measurements directly in the app. Winter is radon season and having good control of radon levels in the buildings one uses is extremely important. With the improvements we have now made, you get historical data and analyses directly in the app. Through the EC Go app we take the indoor climate of our customers' buildings seriously. The improvements we have made with regard to radon are a clear demonstration of this, says Hagenes.
