– Tired of outdated systems that didn't work

– To put it plainly, I have never been able to like these BMS systems. My experience is that they are often both outdated and provide little control over buildings. We also find that many players deliver systems that don't actually work. That is why we have been looking for a better solution for our customers and their buildings for several years, says owner and commercial project manager at Fag-Elektrikeren, Petter Sivertsen.

Liked what he heard and saw
Three or four years ago he discovered Energy Control. He contacted the company because he wanted to get better acquainted with the solution and technology the start-up delivered.
– I liked both what I heard and what I saw, says Sivertsen, continuing:
– The single biggest energy-saving measure for most of our customers is to address the control of ventilation in the building. Here Energy Control delivers by far the best and simplest solution on the market. My experience after many projects is that the technology and solution delivers on its promises – and then some, says Sivertsen.

Quick to start, quick to finish
Fag-Elektrikeren and Energy Control have now collaborated well for around three years. It took a little time before the first contract was signed, but an increasing number of Sivertsen's customers are now adopting the wireless sensor technology on which Energy Control bases its solutions.
– Our customers not only find that the technology works, but also that it is both simple and affordable. They get up and running quickly and achieve results quickly, says Sivertsen.

Christian Hope at Energy Control says they have so far completed around ten projects of various sizes together with Fag-Elektrikeren.
– They are involved in several renovation projects on office buildings, shopping centres and healthcare buildings. We are their subcontractor for everything relating to building management. The collaboration works very well, says Hope.

Sees enormous potential
Hope believes the reason the collaboration works so well is that both companies share a common understanding and philosophy at the foundation.
– We are both focused on ensuring the customer gets a solution that works and delivers according to what is promised, says Hope.
– So far we are very satisfied and see enormous potential for developing the collaboration further. An expanded partnership with Energy Control is therefore a clear priority for us in 2026, says Sivertsen.
