– Now we'll outclass the industry in user experience and satisfaction

– We have been blessed with what we ourselves experience as the industry's best and most satisfied customers. Many have been with us for a long time and they are enthusiastic supporters of our solution. Now we are making a concerted effort to take user and customer experience to a new level. Now we'll outclass the industry in user experience and satisfaction, says CEO of Energy Control, Tommy Hagenes. 

A more holistic user experience
The company has therefore hired two important specialists. Henriette Greve Schjelderup (25) has a master's degree in interaction design and has returned home to Bergen after a stint in Düsseldorf, Germany. 
– This was too good an opportunity for me to let pass, says Schjelderup. 
She is the new product owner of the EC Go app. In brief, this means she will make the app simpler and more intuitive to use. 
– The app has a lot of great features, so it's about making small improvements that together make the overall user experience better, says Schjelderup. 

Strong customer relationships
Dalton Horvith (37) has broad experience as head of customer success at various companies, including at Airthings, a company Energy Control has a close and good collaboration with. At Energy Control, Horvith will play a central role in the work to strengthen long-term customer relationships. 
– Energy Control is not just about delivering a product, but about ensuring that customers actually experience value and succeed over time. A focus on structured follow-up, clear value creation and continuous improvement is something I have worked with for many years, so the role at Energy Control felt like a natural next step, says Horvith.
For his own part he wanted the job because it was a good combination of personal ambitions and an exciting opportunity. 
– Energy Control works in an industry that is developing rapidly, which I find exciting. I am motivated by being somewhere that is growing and where I can help shape how we work with our customers, says Horvith. 

Both moving to Bergen
Both are moving to Bergen to start working at Energy Control.
– After finishing my studies I moved in with my partner in Germany and was looking for jobs there. When I got this opportunity at Energy Control, I decided to move back home to Bergen. The plan is that my partner will eventually also come to Bergen, says Schjelderup.

Dalton is bringing his wife and children and moving over the mountains from Oslo. He originally comes from the USA. 
– My wife is from Bergen, so she wanted to come home again. I like Bergen and when the opportunity at Energy Control came up the choice was easy. We're looking forward to settling in Bergen, says Horvith. 

Important resources
Tommy says the two resources the company has now secured mean a great deal for the further development of the company. 
– We are a company in strong development and have been strongly innovation-driven. That is a development we will continue going forward, but it is important to improve our products and strengthen user experiences. The two new hires play a key role in this work, says Hagenes. 
He is both proud and pleased that they have accepted the jobs. 
– This will mean that Energy Control will eventually become an even better version of itself, says Hagenes.
